poems
dreams
books
the seed? or the soil in which it grows?
words
the stem cells of mind
expressed to build
can be co-opted to renew
scan, skim, skip
lore and lingo
libel, insult
inarticulate confessions
habits and hang-ups
fan the amplitude of gratitude
recall ambivalence
restore uncertainty
embrace in flight
germinate spontaneity
everything bold is you again!
the familiar strange
the unusual ordinary
a lot to think about
a lot to figure out
a lot to decide
don't play favorites!
as perception atrophies
to be replaced with fancy
let me draw your intention to
the constraints of knowledge, to
subjective well-being
secure in an identity
the baseline villain-to-hero ratio
underestimates the sly inertia
of the obsoletists
cognitively incapable of release
I
a primary commander in this camp
half Narkissos, half Ares, and primitive
personally don't see the necessity to
climb the serrated ramp
(I've said that before, haven't I?)
consumption can produce
production also consumes
never forget
a wrinkle is an excess
a tension deficit
determinate or probabilistic
trouble is intriguing
unto the filthiest innocence
tender corruptions of purity
spawn tentative interstitial ecstasies
