Outcast
Intend:
tend in
your garden
your garden
your desert garden
let go the guard
and go.
Understand:
stand under
the cooling sun
and watch
steam rise
from the widening cracks
in the coarse caliche
where you stand.
Overcome:
come over
to the other side;
the other sighed too
before daring the steam
when the sun cooled.
