Mistakes
If we learn from
our mistakes
Why do we run
from them
Deny them, pass them
to others
Why do we see repeating
a lesson
Not as getting it
right
But as proclaiming our
hopelessness
Baring our inferior, unimprovable
core?
Do we fear
our teachers
Or is it what they cannot
teach
Because they do not
know
That makes us tremble
in their presence?
Every error
threatens death…
But every failure
serves freedom.
