Frictionless
Fiction is broken
because we are breaking.
Honesty is kind of my thing.
It means what it is.
Fiction needs friction
where poetry slides.
The better I learn to listen,
the more I have to say.
Even water circling the drain
has somewhere to go.
I will put my poem in you
and you will never forget it.
Echoes are inescapable
until they fade.
