You Must Forgive Yourself
You must forgive yourself
for feeling satisfaction that
that suffering that is not yours
is not yours.
You must forgive yourself
for being pulled in every direction
and for going, more often than not,
where you are pulled.
You must forgive yourself
for sometimes taking what is offered,
or obtainable, and for using
what you feel you need.
You must forgive yourself
when you change, and when you don't,
and when you want to change
but don't know how.
You must forgive yourself
for needing to forgive yourself
and for being able, or unable,
to do so.
