You Don't Go

You don't go anywhere when you die.
You don't go to oblivion.
You don't go, and you don't stay.
You are and then you aren't.
Or, you think you are and then you don't.
Where is the rain when it stops?
Where is the fire when it goes out?
Where is the wind when it no longer blows?
You aren't even what isn't, because you aren't.
Unless time is a lie,
and then you are, always.
But if time is a lie, you can never know it,
so you can never know if you still will be
or if you won't.
