Vary All Things

I am life first and human second.

One eye looks through a garnet,
one eye peers into an emerald.

Vary all things
even in the degree that they vary.

Do I do enough?
What is enough?
What is not enough?

Who I used to be was someone
who might become.

Don't stand in the shadow of a certainty.
You can't be burned by the same sun twice.

The universe is made of compliance,
but I prefer choice.
