Too Much 8

I see too much in too many
things now.  Nothing is simple
as it was.  What has changed,
and what has changed me?
When I fell for the complex
it wasn't this I expected.
I close my eyes, but when I
open them everything has become
multiplied and more obscured.
I must not look away or I may
be lost.  I must look away
or I may be lost.  I may be
lost.  I opened a perfect nut
and found a world of rot.
