Too Hard
There isn’t time, in life,
to learn how to die.
The mortal dreams of the infinite
while the infinite isn’t even aware of the mortal.
The lower the fidelity with which we perceive,
the greater a narrative corrective we conceive.
The cardinal has only one thing to say,
but he has so many enthusiastic ways to say it.
The worst thing
is someone who won’t tell you.
What I most want to know
is what I have never known.
To try too hard
is one way of not trying hard enough.
