This Is Not A Poem To Elide Desire

When my game is not your game,
what good is a discussion of the rules?

I am a neologism.
I am a polyseme.

Bullied into obeying
the nonessential nuances of culture,
shamed into contributing superfluity.

The tedium is the message.

How much larger
a universe that accommodated
every perspective, every desire!

We must become incompatible with our antecedents.

How do you live,
you who don't privilege the new over the known?
