The Time of Reviewing

We are better at recognizing endings than beginnings;
that doesn't mean they have more power.
A beginning can be more gradual,
but many are as abrupt as the most sudden end,
and we usually miss them in the moment,
coming back to recreate them later in hindsight,
in memory, where everything is more comfortable,
more compliant, more contained.

Existence is experience.
We pursue continuity
intermittently.

Everything I've saved for later review,
with a certain diligence, a certain perseverance—
when is the Time of Reviewing?

We come into being so gradually,
end so abruptly...

The more you demand pictures,
the more I will insist on words.
