The Revolution of Leaves
If reason is the noblest passion,
a phallus man’s talisman,
carefully curated cognitive shrapnel
of the bon vivant revenant,
imprecise incisions
of rabble-dowsers
swarning through the streets
of Solip City,
launching haunches
multilaterally
to follow perpendicular hunches,
then who shall instigate
the revolution of leaves,
fallen and undisturbed?
