The Lie 2

Why would I accept your lie
when there are such better lies
disguised as truth?  It's true!
The world loses nothing
in telling its lies.  It's true!
You are eaten alive by yours.
My lie is that I won't.
And I don't, though I'm seen to.
It's true!  A better lie is not
a bigger lie, or a more convincing one.
The best lie is the most ridiculous,
the lie that doesn't lie yet still deceives.
The world is a lie.
It's true!  And then you die.
