The Inadequates
I have a great disdain
for much of the population.
Not because of where they live
or how they look,
but because of what they think.
The confused, the impaired,
the irrational, the constrained,
the ignorant, the wishful-thinkers,
those who rely on violence, tradition,
or the opinions of others.
The intolerant. The bigot.
The incurious. The fetishizers of falsehood.
I am happy to think them
another, inferior, separate species.
