The Idyllic
i
Are you now, or have you ever been,
a member of the human species?
We are velocity,
not direction.
True enough to feel love.
Tough enough to survive it.
At a little less than arm's length.
ii
There is nothing immoral about changing your nature.
Nature is based on it.
Your certainty
reveals your fallibility.
The notion of "broken" carries so many assumptions behind it.
How much coercion
to effect the idyllic?
