The Extraneous

The future
neutered by looters,
does it matter if we get it
or are given it?
Where shall we house the random accidents
we call our belongings?
How shall we endure them
when they are lost into longings?

The meter has corroded.
Sensation is a metaphor for duration.
What if it's precisely that which you think essential
that is superfluous? Or at least extraneous?
Not necessary, but accidental?
This.  This.  More of this.
