The Desire

To decide everything.
To control everything
in order to arrange everything.
To want to not only want
but to get—have!—what one wants.
There is no freedom without fulfillment.
Others collaborate in your suffering
because what else can they do?
To direct, to select from choices
one has chosen, to take, and to decline
to take, and to relinquish what one has taken.
To act as one has determined one will act.
To reject every constraint but that
which shapes desire.
