The Banality In Bliss

Look not for the banality in bliss
lest you find it.

The simulation is real.
We elevate coincidence to destiny
when it pleases.
Nailed to the chaos
before the getaway gateway,
chimeras posing for cameras,
indignant indigents
tainted by taunts and
libidinous objurgations,
denied radical retreat.

Offered joy,
we opted for grief.
