The Authentic

The rock that bears up to
the pressures that it endures
is not superior to the rock
that cracks.  Both cracking
and not cracking are within
a rock's nature.  Both express
"rockness" equally.

In humans, acceptance and
rejection are both part of
our nature.  We evince a
complexity that rocks do not:
not only cracking or not cracking
but also how we characterize
each and how we feel about
either being all equally authentic
expressions of our nature.
