Taste

No matter how bad you think something is,
someone loves it.
No matter how good you think something is,
someone hates it.
No, let's be honest,
thousands of someones, maybe millions.
We will never all agree,
can never all agree.
What's possible is compromise,
but that doesn't satisfy anyone.
Or compulsion,
and everyone who deserves to be called human
hates that.
Maybe it's enough to love what we love
and hate what we hate.
Maybe it has to be.
Real bonds are not based on taste.
