Subversivity
Why do they deny
that the load-bearing is luminous?
Working-class wankers.
Persons of small understanding
and minimal tolerance.
Oblivious. And livid.
The petty exemplars.
Sphincter-speakers.
Pedantic semantics
disguised as "plain-speaking."
They have spent too much
on frivolous necessities.
Are too invested
in giving their enemies
punitive enemas.
Provoked to reverence
because the corporation
is incorporeal.
The dissenters having become rebels,
now the neo-dissenters
must become neo-rebels.
Some struggle to know
what's wrong with the world;
some, what's right in it.
What does it mean to love a country?
The quickest way to become part of an ism
is to not notice something
or to not understand it.
One day my veins run
with oil-and-vinegar dressing;
the next, with bleu cheese.
Nothing is inevitable
if you look back far enough
into its antecedents.
It is not evil to not know the good.
It is evil to reject the good.
