The world shouts NO at me
and I scream NO back—
I just want to pack
and go—but where?
I despair at the disrepair.
Everything is being dismantled,
nothing built.  I'd feel no guilt
to walk away—what say
did I have in things turning
out this way?  But how?
I can't go now—see?—
I lack the basic wherewithal.
If I stay, I'll fall.
I've stalled.  Now it's here.
