Something 5

Someone did something,
and the something they did broke something.
Now the world is leaking.
Now reality is losing its shape.
These brains, evolved for this world,
for this reality, are becoming unmoored.
Something was broken by something someone did,
and we are not made to cope
with something broken in this particular way
rather than the ways it was broken in before.
Now the parameters are changing.
Now the former norms are being erased.
Something broke when someone did something,
and now everything is—or soon will be—different.
