Impulse to vernate
to evade the disconsolations,
the curse-blessing of how we see the world,
invasive visions cultivated by the oblivious,
noctilucent peer review,
barrier frustration
as trends tend to extend,
as duration becomes degradation.

I yearn to learn
to provide a provocation,
inconspicuous consumption,
choices, not chores.
Don't build a wall to stop the flow;
dig a channel to divert it.
