Rebuttal 2
With all due respect
(and none is due),
one of us is wrong—
and that is you.

Don't waste my time
with your feelings.
Your fantasies
are not appealing.

If this is how
you reach your conclusions,
it's no wonder you live
in constant confusion.

For facts, it seems,
bear no dominion
in the development
of your opinion.

Your simplistic notion
does not explain
the situation—
are you insane?

If the law of the land
required reason,
I'd see you shot
for willful treason.

Complexity
is lost on you:
you are simply wrong—
and now I'm through.
