Rain and Sun

Rain and sun, and rain and sun again.
People stable at some distance.
A lake full of fish (and a broken beer bottle
on the weedy bottom near the dock),
surrounded by trees, mostly pine.
Teen in a bikini, her tanned skin
hot from the sun, the cloth grown
tantalizingly cold from the rain.
Red clover along each route.
A yellow light in the windows
of a wooden cabin.
Hamburgers (probably) on the grill.
All gone, all gone, all gone.
Rain and sun, and sun and rain again.
