Polyphonic

We live in a land of cuckoos and cockatoos.
The cacophony is polyphonic.
What if the archetype is the cliché?
All epiphany, all the time.
Epistles by nude maids sitting on thistles.
As though mass hysteria were our civic duty.
Connections are tenuous.
Everything is expendable.
Refusing to calculate the expense
doesn't eliminate the expense.
The brutality of futility.
Orchestrated open-source orgasms.
You could change the color of everything
without changing anything.
