On Belief

We say we want to learn
when really we want to find out.

            comfort => challenge
            comfort <=> challenge
            comfort <= challenge

If we don't know what something means
but we believe that it means something,
are we as foul as the fevered faithful?

            comfort => challenge
            comfort <=> challenge
            comfort <= challenge

I want to believe
in the unnecessariness of belief.
The world, unbelieved in, continues,
doesn't notice.

            comfort => challenge
            comfort <=> challenge
            comfort <= challenge

Let's know what we can know,
say the rest is under consideration.
