And all the virgins must be sacrificed
and all the dead weight shifted
and all the ignorant forcefed knowing
like willful hunger-strikers
and all the old people enyouthified
and all the young people allowed to grow older
and everyone forced to look directly at
what they are trying to avoid
and all the winners taught to lose
and all the losers helped to win
and everyone encouraged to dance
and dance and dance until
they fall down laughing and cry out
oh so THIS is what joy is!
