Now-Impossible
How I long for the longitudinal.
Are you, though, a person of gathering
or a person of scattering?
An oratory of rhetorical glory.
An allegorical ego.
Addiction to aesthetic sensation.
A now-impossible posterity.
Inculcated with a sentimental cynicism.
Is it time to convene the antithesis?
A metrical asymmetry.
Inside every adequacy is a center of deficiency.
How long can you contain the madness?
How long can you maintain the mad idea
that madness can be contained?
