My Place 2
Since life won't commit to me,
how can I commit to it?
In the Temple of Idling,
I know my place is right here,
not knowing my place.
Which is worse, the false claim,
the insincere commitment,
or the broken promise?
There is a temptation
to submit to the prettiest test,
suturing the structure.
I envy
only
the indolent dollar.
