Mirage | Miracle

What you can't justify,
what takes up a lot of room,
what demands more than it offers,
let it go, or make it go,
or if it won't,
leave it, walk away,
walk toward the newly true,
the tolerable, the fresh.
Sure, you may never reach it.
But even a mirage that calls your name,
that says come,
can get you moving
when you've forgotten your legs,
when you've forgotten you're not a tree.
