Le Béléphant
more legible egos
trying to replace experience with coherence
rather than paying attention to attrition
what we almost have
what we almost do
a day of sorbet at the ballet
so much lurks
in unplumbed assumption
even in a life devoid
of unearned reward
a manufactured demand
melancholy melodies
le béléphant
rutting to rip
