Large and Small

Find your happiness in yourself,
they say.  Which is fine,
but the world is so much bigger
and more full of wonders.
So I try to copy the world
into myself—I can't hold it!
And my copies lack definition.
And I'm still not sure
whether my copies enrich me
or squeeze me into an ever smaller space.
The world was fine without me.
Could I be fine without it?
Could I be large enough to hold happiness
and too small to contain the rest?
