Is There Anything Harder To Love?

Is there anything harder to love
than a person who won't love?

How can you forgive someone
for being so unhappy?

What you see of people
is what is left of them.

We swim fine in abundance
but drown in irrelevance.

Possibility begins as a grape,
ends a raisin.

If society doesn't sustain,
then what is the point of it?

There is no finishing,
there is only ending.
