Identity | Futility
Wherever I go, there I am,
but more to the point, there it is,
ahead of me, waiting
(for me, among other things).
If I can't get away from myself
(thanks for that, and
for the assumption that I'd want to)
it's because what I am,
or at least what defines me,
is contained in the approach, is expressed
by the irresistible movement toward.
I am what cannot resist
and I am what would.
There I am. Here I go.
