I Know A Secret

The status quo is strongly defended.
But truth is not answerable to the hierarchy.

Some people blow themselves up to destroy the innocent
(well, the ignorant). Others blow a whistle to warn them.

These heroes can't be heroes if we vilify them.
They say. Bestowing an officious stomp of disapproval.

Anyone who wants to judge me
had better stand ready to be similarly judged.

Authority that can't accept debate
has no authority.

No one is free who is denied access to facts.
Neutrality is ignorance or apathy.

We are taught to reveal atrocity (or truth concealed
among conspiracy theories) but not to accept the consequences

of sacrifice.
