Everything One Ever Says
I reject, along with the others,
the religion of the contemptuous.
The search for
☐ wealth
☐ fame
☐ happiness
☐ love
☐ truth
☐ success
☐ community
☐ power
☐ etc.
People queuing everywhere
for the opportunity to be
upgraded to a new queue.
You may not hold me responsible
for anything I didn't choose.
(What did I ever choose?)
It is true that everything matters,
and it is true that nothing matters,
just at different scales.
There is a reverie
interrupted periodically
by reality.
Is everything one ever says
other than "I don't know"
a lie?
