Endtimes

Who fears endtimes is a fool.
Every moment is an endtime.
What should be feared
is when the next new start
doesn't.

It is true that people continue after death, transformed. What of it?
It is also true that everything we value of them is lost in that moment.

What is left of someone after they die
is exactly what is left of a book after it's burned;
there are other people, there are other books,
but these are lost, never to be known again.

Life is hard, but doable;
death is easy, but unthinkable.
