Desuetude

I speak a speckled speech,
packed with beseeching
and spackled with screech,
of a glossary of impulse.

The heron is blue.
And makes a public spectacle
of her privacy with the
brio of the seraglio.

This pantomimicry, tased
with the apprehension
of the thrilling monotonies,
a smirr of lurid murk,

sarcophilous and prognostic
of pro-gnostic inclination,
negotiating to exhaustion
a fixity of repose;

this revulsion at evidence of credulity.
What if we are as irresponsible
for our lives as our dreams?
A seduction is more than an offering.
