Dealing With Your Enemies
Waste no time on indignation,
but identify your enemies
and move against them at once.
Be as pitiless as a laugh
and as relentless as desire.
Secure what they would take from you,
no more and no less,
whether they have succeeded in taking it yet or not
and then walk away. Walk away.
Celebrate your efforts-to-restore,
for your victories will be few
and your defeats will be more.
Your enemies are starving worms
who cannot be sated—
you must waste no time
feeding them on indignation.
