Cosmopolitics
That everything is possible
or permissible
or rewarding
or tolerable
or endurable
doesn't obligate me
to desire it all
equally.
I am what I pick up
and what I leave alone
even more than I am
the algorithm of choice.
I don't have to carry the world
to justify my place in it.
