At a theater near you
Your friends are putting on a show
and the subplots are inimical to your wellbeing.
Follow the light of the usher
down the endless dark aisle.
None of these seats are for you.
No one made you a reservation.
There is no usher, only a small light.
Follow, walk, go.
It's okay if you weep, for it is dark
and all eyes are on the stage.
There are no eyes.
Is there a stage?
