Accident
I have here the smoked pizzle of a Mayflower Pilgrim.
Uncivil forfeiture.
There is very little "history."
There is a great deal of historical narrative.
The one unpardonable sin
is to interpret mythology literally.
The pronouncement of a belief
is not the same as the discovery of a truth.
And where else could the absurd path lead
but to absurdity?
The art is in the failure of the art.
Always fry your bacon in the nude.
If there were no accidents,
what an accident that would be.
