A Woman Made of Poems

I could never love a woman
who wasn't made of poems.
It's okay if she never wrote one.
It's okay if she never read one.
But they must reside inside,
wild and alive.
They must move her limbs
and shine from her eyes.
There must be a poem called "Curiosity"
and one called "Kindness"—
the rest I won't dictate
but would read and study
as long as I was allowed.
I know there are such women,
though I never see them anymore...
