Does integrity require integration?
Identity fermented into ego,
ego curdled into identity.
It is best to know if you are trying
to validate or invalidate.
To relitigate the long-wrongly-settled.
The idea of an illusion is an illusion.
Guilt over what you have depleted.
And you may be reading entirely
too many poems about poems about poetry.
Why arrive when you can go further?

Whoever struggles
to feel like a person
has my sympathy.
