A Love-Day
When will you
take a love-day,
make an excursion
with a friend
to a place where
there is much to see
for you not to look at,
an appealing meal
to savor and share?
Let your disappointment
be teased away for a day
while you connive with the bold sun
or the indirection of the moon
to ignite a smile where there was none?
