2Incredible. A science fiction adventure dream. I was with my family and we entered a different dimension from our own (which itself was futuristic and different) equipped with some things we thought we'd need. Several plot things happenedpeople would get into trouble and have to be saved, etc. The setting was the most incredible thing. Unbelievably detailed and specific, it was very alien. It had the feel of Land of the Lost combined with Otherworld, with a little Lost In Space thrown in. There were many monstrous creatures that attacked us. I had a great, sleek black gun (an energy weapon). At first, if I aimed it straignt down at the ground, it would lift me up a couple of feet into the air (if I fired it, of course). At the end of the dream, however, it badly needed recharging and was much weaker. After we defeated all of our assailants and emerged victorious, we returned to our spot of entry into the dimension. We came a different way, though, through a tunnel which bore the marks of a great fight, most notably, the carcass of a worm twenty feet long and five or six feet around which hung from the ceiling and was bloodily severed about three-fourths of the way down. We recognized this as signs of another explorer (or group of) and wanted to search for them, but we knew we needed to return home, to rest and resupply. We decided we'd try to come back and go down the inviting tunnel which they seemed to have traversed. We got into the transport vehicle and got on our way home. We found there a supply sack filled with many useful things, some of which we'd had in our previous sack and used in our adventure and others which were new. The bags were apparently left by some sort of gamesmaster, who had a sense of humor, as he put a little joke in each sack. In this one it had something to do with hair-rollers and dogs; in the 1st one, it had something to do with a real dead dog. Else before. (F) |
