Dreaming; Night of

       6:05              1Things were strange. It was after WWIII or something and everyone acted odd; they wouldn't associate with one another or something. I did a bunch of stuff and spent a bunch of time trying to "normalize" and win over a girl. Else. (G)
     2I was in a school at the end of a very informal class taught by John Steakley. There was a piece of paper called sinus paper and one could snort on it and depending on how bad his sinus problems were an area on the paper would turn a certain amount of blue. A girl was there and I showed her how to use it. It was almost time for school to be over for the day, so John decided he was ready to leave, told me, and left. I then left and set out walking toward some goal on a large, very nice campus. I quickly came to a busy parkway-type street that one was not allowed to cross without the aid of the two women crossing guards working it. They would go from one section to another to help someone all the way across. When I got there, they were on the other side and when, after a goodly wait on my part, they came back to my side, they wouldn't help me across right away but went to a phone booth to make a giggly, foolish phone call. Disgusted, I walked about 100 yards to my right to a corner where there was another large, though more dangerous for not being guarded, crossing. I made it across and walked straightish for a while. I was walking with some guy at this point that I had met crossing the street (I think I had known him before). We came to a little house-like building that looked abandoned. I walked in, saw a bunch of pictures (b&w) of groups of men, and assumed that it was an old fraternity hall. I was wrong, however, for C and some girl turned out to be there, cleaning the house for someone and sitting for about 20 puppies. I left and, looking back upon the house, noticed its European look and thought how much I'd like to live there. Then there was something about following some girl that I saw/knew/was in an earlier part of the dream to her little house and speaking with her for a bit. Else. (G)
