3I was at the C's. I had a bunch of books and folders and stuff that were either part of some mystical game or some real metaphysical pursuit. I was looking through them, trying to find a particular item called the "Kasidah" something something. P became interested in what I was doing and watched. According to legend, anyone who used this item would be bothered by the Balrog, who could not be held. I found the item and was telling P of the legend when she shouted that she saw it and started grabbing under a buffet table. I didn't really believe her, because, after all, it was only a legend, but she came up with a squirming creature that looked like a black rubber mouse. We tried several seemingly infallible ways of imprisoning it, but, true to legend, each time it quickly escaped. Else before all this. (G) |
